Here is a sampling of the OEC curriculum.
Students are made aware of the diversity of plant and animal species found in our forest as they explore the strength of this ecosystem.
Students explore the aquatic community with the tools of scientists in our 'outdoor laboratory,' collecting organisms for observation with a focus on food chains and adaptations.
The Conservation block focuses on using our natural resources wisely. Students develop a sense of personal connection to, responsibility for, and appreciation of the natural environment as they become more aware of the role humans play. This class often includes hands-on projects.
